Find out about a Pete's burger and a cluster from Anita!

Rain.  Lots of rain this morning, but we went into town anyway, and got some Pete's burgers..and then drove over to Iowa (just across the bridge) to a nice "look out" spot in Marquette we like to chow down.   Man, did they taste good!   If you dont' know what  a Pete's burger is....try this link:  https://www.wisconsinlife.org/story/petes-hamburger-stand-has-fed-prairie-du-chien-for-more-than-a-century/    and you'll get the idea.  They sound strange...but the taste?  OH MY :)   just so darned good!   Then we filled up with gas (two trips to Madison this next week, NO overnighters tho!)   stopped at Wally world  for that elusive Powerade....and now here I am indoors while Eric is back outside.   Somehow he caught the gardening bug....actually, he is doing it all for me, and I couldn't love him more for it!   I hope your day has been half as nice as mine has been so far!    Tonight I have a cluster that Anita made to share with you using Everyday Stories - The Beach.  Have fun scrapping!

  7. wonderful story! glad you were able to enjoy the day! we have a similar place here.... Russ Ayre's hot dogs. My grandfather knew him when he sold his dogs from a push cart going down the main street. Russ Ayre is long gone but his little pushcart is now a hot dog stand with a booming business ... and they only sell dogs! they are delish! i get mine with saurkraut and brown mustard. yum!
