Rain. Lots of rain this morning, but we went into town anyway, and got some Pete's burgers..and then drove over to Iowa (just across the bridge) to a nice "look out" spot in Marquette we like to chow down. Man, did they taste good! If you dont' know what a Pete's burger is....try this link: https://www.wisconsinlife.org/story/petes-hamburger-stand-has-fed-prairie-du-chien-for-more-than-a-century/ and you'll get the idea. They sound strange...but the taste? OH MY :) just so darned good! Then we filled up with gas (two trips to Madison this next week, NO overnighters tho!) stopped at Wally world for that elusive Powerade....and now here I am indoors while Eric is back outside. Somehow he caught the gardening bug....actually, he is doing it all for me, and I couldn't love him more for it! I hope your day has been half as nice as mine has been so far! Tonight I have a cluster that Anita made to share with you using Everyday Stories - The Beach. Have fun scrapping!

Thank you Anita and Kim for the wonderful cluster. I was glad to hear you had a great day Kim. We can hold special moments like this close as we grow older. :)

ReplyDeleteAnita, this is wonderful. I just love the map element too!! You always surprise me with such beautiful designs. Thanks so much. Kim, so Eric treated you to a burger and a view. Can't ask for more than that now can you. So glad you had a wonderful day, and Eric, I'll say it one more time, you are a GEM! Kim, as always, thank you for the share.

ReplyDeleteWonderful to hear that you are getting out and about enjoying your time. Sounds like you have an absolutely awesome husband. I can relate. You have inspired me to tell my husband more often how much I appreciate him

My grandfather knew him when he sold his dogs from a push cart going down the main street.
