Turn, Turn, Turn - new this week and some awesome freebies!

I saw a post on FB today that was filled with comments - it was a bout women's yearly exams - Breast Xray and Pap Smear.   There were actually women claiming they hated these tests so much that they had skipped them for years...or found them to be too "frightening" to endure.   My comment?   "As a woman with active cancer, I find your refusal to have these tests done just plain ignorant - to toss away a chance to find cancer early is insane."  If there were some sort of early testing that could be done for lung cancer, believe me - I would have done it.  Silly, idiotic people!  (I  know....sometimes I let my temper get the best of me - sorry!)  Just venting :)

 This Saturday, November 11th is Veterans Day - be sure to thank our servicemen and servicewomen for their service keeping us safe here at home and abroad.

This week I have a song named for one of my favorite songs from long ago...which is also a Bible passage.   Turn, Turn, Turn (I know, now you will be singing that all day) is a bold, colorful collection celebrating the change of seasons, both weather wise and in our lives.  Filled with gorgeous papers and elements, it's on sale now at The Digichick for 30% off until Monday at midnight.   I didn't have time to make this a bigger collection, so there are no bonus papers in it.  I'm including this week's newsletter freebie to share tonight....along with a gorgeous cluster from Anita, made with the new release.

and a little inspiration!

Aren't those GORGEOUS?

Just click on the images to download. See you tomorrow!  -Kim

  3. Hello, Kim - I truly love all of your offerings since I 'discovered' you recently and this cluster is another lovely one. I do want to share that the spelling is incorrect in it, though... It is 'patient in affliction' not 'patience' - I'm including a link to a reference site which includes all translations of the verse - Romans 12:12 -https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/Romans%2012:12
    I try to be helpful - ;-}

  5. Lynden, I appreciate the correction - there are simply too many "versions" out there to go by, and unfortunately, I can't make these for every single version. If I fix it to patient, my source says its tribulation not affliction, lol - so no matter which way it's fixed, it will be wrong to someone. Sorry, honest!

  6. Perhaps I should have clarified, but I thought you'd see it if you looked to the link I offered. ALL of the translations use 'patient' not 'patience,' as 'patient' follows the verb 'be.' (As in - "Be joyful...be patient...be faithful...'_ As an English teacher and one who also has theological training, I offered my Help - and the Correct usage of the words, so it would not be a Mistake in your elements... Whatever.
