Horrible storms in southwest Wisconsin this morning....and we weren't even the hardest hit! The county boys had to rev up the snowplows...we live in a VERY hilly area filled with ridges and hollows....and at the bottom of those, after all the rain (2 1/2 inches in half an hour with hail) - there was a foot of mud and debris on all the highways. Our yard turned into a lake....we got by with just a bunch of debris from the hills wrapped around plants and yard items. NO major damage, altho one of our deck chairs has a broken leg..and must be put out of its misery. Spent the afternoon outside trying NOT to slide around in the mud, picking up stuff, and putting things back where they belong. Lots of flattened corn in the fields, downed trees....but we got lucky. Lots of others didn't and now have tons of work to do - some are still without power. Not good! So..posting this, and then we might go see if we can help out down the road a bit :) Jenni made this awesome border piece to share with you using my latest release, Happiness Is . . .
