Here's what was going on in the life of Kim when Best Day Ever was released:
Just when things were drying out a bit...it rained all night ....and of course, that means standing water. and extreme mugginess. Needless to say, I spent the day indoors. Made some lemon bars...and have a pot of spaghetti sauce simmering away on the stove. If you have never had completely homemade spaghetti sauce....lol - let me just say that it's a night and day difference from anything you might get at the store. Fresh homegrown tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic...simmered with some oregano and rosemary from the herb garden....until it's cooked down a thick. I end up adding a couple pinches of sugar to offset the acidity the tomatoes give it...but wow. Just WOW. It's what the term 'awesome sauce' is meant for :) So let's see here....tonight I have a wonderful cluster from Anita to share with you - made with my new release Best Day Ever of course!!
