A hot Monday, and our driveway smells like a giant salad, lol! I took my trusty garden knife and cut out all the weeds that tend to grow between the cement driveway and the asphalt road....swept it all out..and sprayed it with full strength vinegar. I've found its a cheap way to kill off the weedlies - and they don't come back all season :) I buy a gallon jug of distilled vinegar at the beginning of summer....I end up using it all, that's for sure! I just use my little quart spray bottle to get the weedlies.....sometimes mixed half/half with water..and for more stubborn things, full strength. It also kills those dang Canadian thistles - those really prickly ones? and it only kills the stuff I spray it on, so its a nice way to do it :) There is your gardening tip for today - hehehhee! Tonight I have a frame cluster from Jenni - made with One Step at a Time - on sale until midnight tonight! Oh, and I got mixed up the other day...the pretty flower cluster was from Jenni - I said it was from Kaye....the one Kaye made is up tomorrow :) Enjoy your evening!
