A Whatchagot Cookin'? cluster from Anita tonight.....

Back to freezing again - never got above zero today, and is plummeting downward still - currently it's minus six....yep.....it's cold :)   Was watching football with Eric and got tired, so thought I would lay down for ...oh...an hour.  That was at 530pm.   Just got up.   I usually never nap at all - haven't been able to do that all my life.  Suddenly, I find not only am I napping, but I'm good at it, lol - - and sleep hours away.   My doctors told me I would be fatigued.....they weren't kidding!   It's nice to wake up feeling....not quite refreshed...I don't have a word for it.  Satisfied?   Just feeling well rested.   And then promptly remembered I hadn't posted a freebie - so here we are!  Tonight's is another stunner from Anita.

A Whatchagot Cookin'? cluster to share!

It's definitely brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr**cold**   out there today.....sun is shining, but man oh man....what wind chill!  Technically it's 5 degrees (after almost 60 the other day)....but the wind chill is taking the "feels like" down to -12.   Imagine that!   We might get some snow on Sunday they say - should warm up a bit if that happens.  Spent today working on designs and baking my heart out, lol.   Had some leftover pineapple to use up so I made a "Butter Pineapple Cake" from a recipe I found on the net....very dense and heavy and rather on the sweet side.  I won't be making it again - - it's a little over the top for us.  But, hey....you don't find good recipes unless you try, right?  Then I had some raisens to use up - oatmeal/raisen cookies it was/is.  Have about 5 dozen of those babies.  I also have two french loaves of bread rising at the moment - - another 1/2 hour and in the oven they go!   All and all a good day :)  Besides, it's Friday!  SO...have yourself an awesome weekend , too!   Tonight I have a Whatchagot Cookin'? cluster from Anita to share!

Whatchagot Cookin'? and an awesome cluster to share

Going off steroids means lack of sleep...and being up at really goofy times.   I was up at 430 this morning, and it was 50 degrees.  FIFTY.   Now?  We've gotten sleet and rain, wind....and the temp is down to 8.  LOLOL....gotta love Wisconsin, right?  Eric had to take his mother to a funeral - well, he didn't have to , but he did...and when it was time to come home, the roads were awful.   I'm SO glad he is home safe now.   Still fighting headache here, which was expected - but it wears on you.   The good news?  I'm caught up again!    This week, I have a huge cooking collection, on sale for $10. Why?  Because it has some elements that I have used before...and even tho that's basically ok, I'm not crazy about it.  But, it was time for a new cooking collection, so here you go!    It's filled with all you need to scrap your recipes and cooking memories with - so have fun :)   I will have lots of clusters to share with you, too - starting tonight with a dandy from Chrissy!
