Can you believe we are almost to the end of August? Where has our summer gone to? This past Monday we here in the US got to watch a daytime 'lightshow' or lack thereof - the 2017 solar eclipse. While it remained cloudy here in Wisconsin (we were in the 80% viewing range), it definitely got chilly and darker....it was rather surreal outside - the birds had stopped singing and flying around....it was just eerily quiet. I know that when it hit Carbondale Illinois, which is pretty much straight south from us and in the center of the best viewing range , that we would get ours at that time, too - and we did. The view in Carbondale was better tho - and I think I liked the viewing I saw in Jackson Hole Wyoming the best. Hope your week has been a good one so far!
