A Boy's Life - new this week & an awesome cluster!

Hello again everyone :)   Somehow southern Wisconsin went from completely soaking wet to completely dried out - and it was the wind that did it.  The grass is turning brown...we keep watering  everything each night - yep, it's that dry here already.   No rain in sight for a while either!   Matter of fact, it's supposed to be in the mid nineties this weekend...so I spose I'll be spending my weekend , for the most part, indoors.  Eric won't let me out in the hot sun this year....I push the limit with him as it is, lol - - but he is afraid of heat exhaustion - - and because he cares so much, I pay attention.  He let me go out and play Wednesday because he was out there - a neighbor had asked for some of my hosta - which he is more than welcome to help himself to - I have SO many, and they are huge!  Problem is/was - the ground is like cement from the dry conditions...so Eric and him had a hard time digging up some clumps.  I had them cut the foliage back so the plants wouldn't get too stressed out - they should be fine.   I know there are those that say to divide or transplant only in the spring or fall - I've always done it the entire season, and NEVER had a problem...other than ending up with too many plants :)

This week I went with the bold colors that boy's collections demand...and had a ball making it, too!  A Boy's Life is bright, bold and fun - and perfect for scrapping all those fella's in your life.   It's filled with all sorts of goodies to do your pages with - - and on sale until Monday for 30% off in my shop at The Digichick.    I have some totally awesome clusters to share with you too - beginning with one from Jenni tonight, made with the new collection, of course!

The final cluster made with Summer Dreams tonight!

A gorgeous Summer day today here in Wisconsin - almost hit 80 degrees....sunny, breezy - got outside for a while to weed and plant a few more things - felt good, too!  I'm getting a tan - which is so much better than this ghostly pale thing I had going on!    Plus, I got all the old trashy stuff from the garden out for the trash dude tomorrow.  A productive day, plus finished up a collection I was working on.   Good thing I planned on leftovers for supper, because I forgot to take anything out :)   So...hope your Monday was a good one!     Tonight I have the last cluster made with Summer Dreams for you - from Jenni.

A Summer Dreams cluster from Chrissy tonight!

It hit 95 today - and we never got any rain....so guess what Eric got to do for me just now?  yep...asked him to water everything - which he did...it's been so darned windy that everything is dried out already - grass is still green, but shows signs of browning soon......ah summer.   Just never can tell about you, can I?    Everything is looking good tho, and my veggie area is coming along so very nicely!   I'm feeling pretty good - altho I do get "winded" quicker than I ever used to, and need more breaks to just catch my breath.  It's not that I feel like I can't breathe - which is how I felt last summer before I was diagnosed.....just remnants of the cancer letting me know it's still there :)  We went grocery shopping this afternoon, too - and Eric treated me to some awesome Blue Raspberry frozen yogurt at the new Udder Brothers Creamery in Boscobel (where we do our shopping).  Talk about fantastic!!  It was so smooth and creamy...and blue raspberry has always been one of my favorites since i was a kid and would take one of my hard earned nickels to buy a "blue Mr. Freeze pop" from the corner store.   I could never get enough of them back then.  And I truly believe that whoever manufacturers Blue Raspberry Jolly Ranchers would make a fortune if they just sold that flavor alone in a bag.  Heck, I would buy them out in a heart beat!   Anyway.....hope your Sunday was a good one.    Tonight I have a wonderful cluster that Chrissy made with my new Hatchery products, Summer Dreams.    The collection will be on sale at $10 for as long as it's in The Hatchery!
