A Day at the Beach cluster from Chrissy tonight!

We ended up going into PdC this morning, as the home health nurse was due to arrive at 10am, and Eric wanted to meet her.  Which means I got to get up and go for a ride.   She is very knowledgeable and nice...and after a while I had to force Eric to leave, as he was talking so much that she wasn't getting her eval and interview done with Mom...lol....and we weren't needed there anyhow.   I swear Mom breathed a HUGE sigh of relief!  So...since it's STILL raining, I've been working all day, and planning on getting back to it.   Took some time off to make some tater salad and beans...and have Johnsonville brats and some hamburger patties ready for grilling.   I haven't had the grill going since LAST JULY - when I started to get sick.   Hoping it lights right up....but if not....a pan fried burger will do for tonight :)  Hope your Saturday has been sunny and warm!   Tonight I have a beautiful cluster from Chrissy to share with you...made with A Day at the Beach of course!

A Day at the Beach cluster to share tonight!

Well, took most of the day to do it, but we got Eric's Mom home safe and sound.   Her PICC line acted up this morning - she had one for the IV antibiotics - and today for the first time I decided not to work right.  After waiting for 2 hours...the doctor said she could have  a shot instead.    So we got her packed up after that, and headed on our way.  The nursing home PROMISED that the prescriptions had already been faxed to our pharmacy....and we had a 230pm outpatient surgical appointment to have that pesky PICC line removed.    The prescriptions had NOT been recieved by 130 pm - we left the nursing home at 1130 pm.     So...I immediately called down there, getting the "gee, we sent those already" routine....but gee, they sent them again already - and they arrived that time!   Problem was there were so many the pharmacy said to give them an hour.  SO we decided to check into the hospital early instead, pick up the scripts later.  That worked, and we got her home, in her apartment - she is happy and oh so tired out!!!   Hopefully, that is the end of the constant running.   We will have appointments to go to, etc....but she has an in home health aide 3x per week now and will have LifeLine installed on Monday.   We will have breathing room :)   Nice way to end the week - and it's been a long long LONG week, at that!  Hope you all have a great weekend!      Tonight I have a gorgeous cluster that Janet made with A Day at the Beach to share with you!

A Day at the Beach - new this week & a fabulous full page cluster!

Good news - - Eric's Mom will be home this weekend....no more running around everyday, we can sit back and relax - or at least we are hoping so!  She is doing fantastic, and we have all the safeguards in place and ready to go.  Just hoping we didn't forget anything!   So , I can get back to normal.   well.  what I call normal these days anyway :)  I am growing hair again - dark peach fuzz type stuff growing all over this bald head of mine..and I absolutely can NOT wait to have it back again!  Even the "crew cut" look I expect to have by the end of July will be welcome :)  See?  always something to smile about!     This week I have my yearly beach collection to show you - I like this one lots. It's filled to the brim with goodies, papers, elements....you name it - and of course it's on sale until Monday at midnight for 30% off in my shop at The Digichick!   I have some gorgeous clusters to share too, beginning tonight with a beauty from Anita ~   Have a great night everyone~
