A beautiful GST cluster from Chrissy tonight!

Got to visit Eric's Mom today - - she is so much more 'herself' than she has been in ages!  Fiesty and friendly at the same time...that's our MaryDon :)  It was good to see her like this again - made our day.   We're going over to her apartment tomorrow to grab one of her smaller tv sets so she has something - at least for background noise if needed....even if its only for a few weeks (or so we are hoping).  We need to grab more of her clothes, too..and a few other personal items.  So far, so good - - even on another nasty old rainy day.   I have something great to share with you tho tonight, that more than makes up for nasty rainy days - lol!   A beautiful cluster from Chrissy, made with Grandma's Steamer Trunk :)

A Grandma's Steamer Trunk cluster to share!

*sigh*  it's been raining off and on all day - somehow during before it started in again today, Eric was able to get the lawn mowed.  I had work to catch up on inside...and by the time I was done, it was misting again.   It's supposed to stay wet all weekend, darn it.  Someone tell me the sun will shine again!    On a 'sunnier' note - Eric's Mom was transferred this afternoon to a VERY nice facility about 45 minutes from us.   She is happy - and feeling pretty darned good considering the actual shape she is in.   She can't walk right now - there is a no weight bearing order on her left leg because of that foot - and is the source of the staph infection in her blood.  It's one of those "one day at a time" type things.....but we have high hopes :)   We plan on going to see her tomorrow afternoon.   I hope you have a wonderful SUNNY weekend - and have tons of fun!   Tonight I have a wonderful cluster from Jenni to share with you - made with Grandma's Steamer Trunk, my new release - and now on sale in my shop.

Grandma's Steamer Trunk - new this week, and a beautiful set of clusters to share.

Almost the end of April...so soon?   And of course it's been raining like crazy again....must be that old "April Showers" adage at play, right?   I have gotten some work done outside, and I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful it feels to play around in the dirt....pick up the mess, and toss the weeds and dead stalks way out back - withOUT getting winded!   Last year, I couldn't hardly make it up the little hill do dump a bucket....now I'm back to my usual two full 5 gallon pails to dump - without even getting short of breath at all :)    I'll take it!   Hope your week has been a great one - we've been very busy with other family matters...but we're getting there.  Sometimes baby steps works best :)
