There are a couple of new things in my shop at the Digichick this week - both very crafts/sewing orientated, and I'm loving the LO's I've been seeing with them! A rich warm palette, soft textures, fabrics, notions....and some antique advertisizing pages from an 1897 fabrics catalog make for fun and unique scrap pages :)

Hi, it's Anita here again...my twin grandchildren came to visit me this weekend, wearing their new coats, they were so bright and cute I knew I needed some photos ;)

I also love blending photos into the background, this is what I've done with this page, in this one I've turned my photo into a sketch and by turning down the opacity, have blended it into the paper.

This kit is from a while back and it's called Homespun...I love all the different hearts in this kit...
I have also used one of Kim's Alphas called Crazy Stitches...

Hope your weekend is going nicely! We got dumped on Thursday - 8 inches of fluffy new snow...and freezing temps to go with. It was kinda weird, since it usually doesn't snow when its so cold, but did it ever! It got down to -9 on Friday night....and Sunday its warming up a bit and bringing freezing rain with it. Trust me, I'm more than happy to stay inside!

You will be seeing Anita (modgee) and Jenni (ozegirl) posting here off and on along with me....my trusty right hand gals :) They will be showing you some fabulous LO work with the new releases....and I'll still be posting the marvelous freebies (I get to do the good stuff! Hi, I'm Anita aka modgee in the world of scrap, I am so happy to be part of Kim's CT ...'cause it means I get to create gorgeous pages with her wonderful kits :) I love her papers, such gorgeous textures and colours, her elements are always wonderfully fresh and exciting...

I had a photo and story that needed to be scrapped and Kim's new kit My Vintage Valentine worked perfectly for it...

I'm sure we've all been here before...my granddaughter trying to get us to believe, SHE didn't eat the smarties ;)

It finally turned frigid here in Wisconsin.....its 2 am right now, and 4 above with wind chills to -30....the winds are gusting at 25 mph, and I am SO glad Eric is done once again at 3M and home! Its such great snuggle up weather :) You realize of course that Valentines Day is just under a month away, don't you? Seems like Christmas was just last week......but, I've been busy. I've made a wonderful vintage style Valentine's kit, full of rich lucious color and vintage elements.....and a fabulous pieced paper back for a different twist on worn/torn. I LOVE these papers! Without further ado....here they are. Be sure to get to the bottom of the post, because Jenni has made yet another GORGEOUS cluster for you with My Vintage Valentine (and there is more to come!).

I admit freely to being a forgetful person....and not blogging as much as I should! At least when I do - I have goodies to show you, and generally - a little something for your patience! This week is no exception :) (read thru to find your freebie) New this week at the Digichick - and on sale - are two great kits, as alike as night and day! First up is All That Glitters, a rich, warm and colorful glittery kit for the holiday season!

I just love the warmth of the deep colors for Christmas - and the old fashioned look to it all :) Next up is Funky Christmas. The entire kit was inspired by a photo of a gorgeous pot of daisies belonging to one of my Creative Team members, Anita (aka modgee). She asked for bright, fun and colorful, with playful elements to go with. I went just a wee bit overboard with it - ending up with a HUGE kit for her to play with! Without further ado: Funky Christmas!

My girlee's really outdid themselves...and I have a ton more LO's....but this is already getting too long, and I'm not even to the freebie yet! Anita made a couple great word art pieces for you to use - and I made a stacked paper. They go together perfectly - and we both hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them! I will wish you all a very Happy Holiday season now - because while I have good intentions of blogging again next week - my forgetfulness might just take over again! I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am to be able to begin my first 'official' week at the Digichick and celebrate Digital Scrapbooking Day at the same time! There is SO much going on....where to begin? well....first of all......how about a store wide sale?

Did you notice it says a FB fan page freebie hop? Oh yeah!!!! The designers got together and decided to do a not so traditional 'hop'.....and its all on Facebook. And....its all coordinated! Grab all the pieces....and look for the challenge in our forum HERE . As I'm typing this, its not up yet....oh, but it will be! And SO worth your time! Its going to be a layout challenge...and all you have to do is create a layout using the pieces you have collected on the FB freebie hop. That's it! Thanks go to Laura of Wishing Well Creations (I'm on her CT, and while I'm at the Digichick I get to see her all the time!) who told me how...showed me how...sent me a tutorial that showed me how..and screenshots on how to do it...LOLOL!! and yes...after all that, I understood what to do without completely blowing it up...and its working! I have SO much to tell you all...where do I start???

The beginning? hmmm. Lemme see. September - oh yeah, my EHD died. as in....doornail dead. Taking some information that I hadn't backed up yet with it! I was busy working on this secret for October.....and PFFFFFFFFT! Wake up one morning - it was a Monday....naturally :) and no EHD. I tried everything I knew of - nada. Took it to the PC place...and they did the official things...same result....and then had a funeral for it. RIP for sure! I had more darn trouble with that thing!

So here I was, trying to recreate 4 kits that I had lost (thankfully, I had sent out previews to a couple buddies for review..and had those to work from) for this 'secret project'......very slowly, as I had to find things one at a time off DVD's and CD's.....can you say torture? I told Eric I would need at least a thumbdrive to store basics on. My old PC was sooo small....I couldn't hold much on it without slowing other programs down. Did you notice I said 'old PC'??? Yep! He decided to get me a whole new set up...and here I am back in business and just in time, too!

So my wonderful CT ladies and I have been SOOOO busy...because.....I'm guest Designer at the Digichick this month!!! I'm so excited!!! I have two new products there today....one is a wonderful bundle called "Special Moments"...and the other Introspection. Both are on sale, too! Wanna see?

I WISH I had room to upload everyone of them they are soooo lovely! New Piece Wrapping Challenge is UP!!!

Hey everyone! Long time no blog again.....I keep telling myself to BLOG BLOG BLOG - - and then of course I never find time. My only excuse this time around is that I have been blessed???? with a bumper crop from my garden this year...and its canning season! I have tomatoes, peppers, onions, green beans, carrots and corn coming out of my ears..and all over my kitchen. At the moment I'm out of jar lids, too - - darn it all. Eric went back to work on 3rd shift, so I do it all at night while he's gone. I'm hoping he remembers to stop at WallyWorld on the way home to pick me up a couple more packs! I haven't had this much success in a couple years...all the heat this year must have done some good after all.

I got the mini done for this months Piece Wrapping Challenge at Plain Digital Wrapper, tho! Its taken from a kit that I"m releasing on September 9th, called September Morn (after a Neil Diamond song I always loved). You can grab the mini for free in the shop - but you have to visit the forum to get the coupon code for it, LOL! Honestly, tho - - if you grab it, why not make a layout and post it? New Stuff!

I behind again with this bloggin' stuff! I wish I had more time, I wish there were more hours in a day, I wish, I wish , I wish! ah well. I keep trying - does that count? Been busy, tho! I have a bumper crop of tomato's and peppers coming in - - all that diggin' in the dirt sure paid off. I'll probably have to start canning next week...which will be great! Made Eric some salsa yesterday. Just a little bowl of it - I had one big old 'mater just sittin there begging to be used. He got home from work..and it took him all of 4 minutes to finish it off :) I love making that man happy.

Been filling in all the other spare minutes I can find with design work. I have so much going on! Lemme see. Since the blog train, I have two fun colorful kits to play with! One for the Boys...followed up with One for the Girls. Both are on special at 20% off right now in my shop at PDW and my personal store. Wanna see?

wow....long time no blog, huh? sorry 'bout that. things have been absolutely nuts around here. just plain crazy, and that is NOT an exaggeration! but finally - - things are slowly getting back to what constitutes normal around here, so there is light at the end of the tunnel. WHEW!

Lots of changes coming up - - so stay tuned for those....my personal shop is now open! I'm still filling it up, but the basics are there. Each month at PDW the designers get together for a mix and match we call "Designer Ala Carte" - -this months' palette is great...and I had so much fun working with it! Its called Sunshine....and its available in individual packs or as a bundle...and of course, now on sale :)

and both my CT gals and the site CT at PDW went nuts and did all these for inspiration!

That's not even all of them, LOL...I'll have to do another post! Talk about gorgeous layouts! They got so big already, just from growing in an ice cream bucket that I started in my kitchen window....and peppers...wow! Now I'm starting some perennials....and they already poked up, just letting them get to a good size before transplanting. I LOVE spring!

Rainy Day Blues....

I should do a kit named that...hmmmmm. Its been raining for 24 hours. Not bad enough the rivers were JUST starting to recede from flood stages....not bad enough that I just put down some new grass seed early yesterday morning.....or that I have a jungle in my kitchen from the crazy nursery that delivered my new bushes and perennials early.......I need sunny and warm. Just for a few days. I have 'cabin fever' so bad I can't stand it and its interfereing with everything else! I'm trying to finish up a kit for Friday (then it would be two new ones) and now I'm stuck. Darn old rain.

anyhow....just felt like whining. On the bright side, if there is one today....I'm working on some great goodies and give aways for iNSD - which is almost here! May 7th - - I LOVE that weekend! I think its Mothers Day weekend, too? I could be wrong on that one , tho. But...if it is...then Eric won't get toooo mad if I spend a little $$, LOL! At least I hope not. ah well. I spose I better get back at it, and I have no idea why I stopped here to post...other than I felt like complaining to anyone that might listen :) Have a good one till Friday! and wish this rain away for me, would ya?

Fresh! New at PDW

Happy almost Easter everyone :) I hope you all have a joyous and blessed day tomorrow - we will be home, just the two of us after church - its going to be SO nice! And...after a crazy week both inside and outside, its supposed to be 60 again and NO rain. Its been snowing/raining/sleeting all week. The Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers are flooding....its a mess out there! Then, my EHD took a dump again - I think I have the touchiest EHD in the world. Luckily, I can always recover everything....and I've learned to backup almost always. I say almost cuz....well....I hadn't backed up since January. Its all taken care of now, I'm back on track, and the sun is gonna shine for Easter!

I had this uploaded before things got whacky here, so adding it to the shop was all I had to do. I LOVE this palette! Fresh is available in seperates or as a bundle...and its on sale now, too :)

and naturally I had to scrap Eric with it :)

Hey there everybody! Here's to hoping that the weather where ever you may be is getting better, warmer....here in Wisconsin spring is TRYING to appear, but we keep getting setbacks. Today was one of them. Gusting winds, sleet.....after being 80 degrees on Monday its now down to 36 again. I tell ya...I wanna get back outside and get to diggin' in the dirt (remember that.....its a hint for next week!). This week tho, I got lots done design wise.....so here we go!

New Products at Plain Digital Wrapper

Happy Saturday everyone! Its been another busy busy week here at Kimeric Kamp - lots going on as usual...and add in the gorgeous weather with spring just around the corner....and my love of gardening....and well....time gets even more 'scarce'. I did manage to finally get my tomato's and peppers started in the kitchen window - they are up this week, and looking healthy! The problem with having a huge picture window in the kitchen is that right now it looks like a jungle in here. Four years ago, Eric's mom gave me a Bloodleaf coleus that she had purchased at a local greenhouse to put on her porch for the summer. I LOVE the deep reds/burgundies in the Bloodleaf...and I took it, of course, nursed it back to health....and its now the "Mama" plant in the kitchen terrium. All together I have eight of the Bloodleaf's growing in the window...3 from last year (they go on the back deck), the Mama and 4 jars of cutting's rooting out for spring. Mama Bloodleaf is over 5 feet tall right now - she's beyond bush stage and is trying for small tree status. Some of the leaves are 5" across! The main stems are as big as my thumb....just huge. And...I love it! The plant that keeps on giving, year after year. I love coleus for pots around the shady part of the deck - so much color! So, there are several varieties growing in the window now. Plus...tomato's and peppers...LOLOL! Outside I have hosta's and daylilies to divide up soon...and some iris that need thinning. and I simply can't wait to get my hands dirty again :)

So...whats new from me scrapwise? Three new packs for the Everyday Moments line.....sports themed this time around, and super cute! Each pack has some papers to match the theme....but everything, of course, matches the entire EM product line. There is also a curly ribbon pack to match. Then there is "Brand New Day" a fun springy summery anytime kit full of denim blues, greens and yellows...its great if I do say so myself! So, without further ado...here are the new products, available exclusively at Plain Digital Wrapper.

"Movement" - a charity kit for MS

March 14-20, 2011 is National Multiple Sclerosis Awareness week, and in honor of that, 34 designers got together to create a mega-kit called "Movement," and then a Creative Team got together to design matching Quick Pages and Templates.

MS stops people from moving, and we're raising money to help the National MS Society make sure that doesn't happen. I take part in alot of 'charity' kits....they are all worthwhile, and if even a little $$ is raised, then it was worth the effort. You can find this great kit for a great cause at Ginger Scraps .

This kit includes 190 Papers, 419 Elements, 3 Alphas, and the QP set includes 42 QPs, 1 brag book, and 6 templates. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this bundle go to the National MS Society .

Challenges at Plain Digital Wrapper

Ok, so I haven't been the bestest blogger in the world. I admit it. I've tended to use it just to advertise stuff...and there is always so much going on! Seems I spend enough hours in the day at this here PC of mine....might as well share what I'm up to once in a while.

I think I've mentioned that I'm exclusively at Plain Digital Wrapper now, and finding the extra time I have to scrap and design is just .... GREAT! I've always found that scrapping is relaxing. Inspiring. and fun. I love seeing other designers 'takes' on palettes or themes....love to challenge myself. I've joined in a couple challenges at PDW again this month - and to tempt you to join in, too - here is what I'm doing.

I'm working the challenges with the new PDW collab 'Sunny Days are Here Again' - I LOVE the palette, and there is so much to work with! First - I joined the calendar challenge. The grids are provided for free from Scraps of Candy, our superduper template gal - and the posting bonus is from yours truly. Here is what I came up with:

I even got a GSO for it! Made my day (thanks Becki!) You can check out the challenge HERE .

Next... I thought I would try the Slow Wrappin' challenge...a progressive scrap, which is something I have never tried before! Gotta tell you tho....its torture waiting for new instructions each week. I kept seeing the entries in the gallery each week, and wondered from time to time what they were doing. Now I know! Here is week one, followed by week two's entries from me, using the same collab kit:

for week one, we had to pick a background, chose another paper for a 'shape' and use a font to 'stitch' it down. I used the font Aleia.

This is after week two's instructions. We had to add ribbons, strings, bows and doodles. The string is the only thing from my stash (you are required to use just one thing from PDW in your project - I'm mostly using everything from the collab). I loved the flower doodle in the kit, so used that, too. Once you are done for the week, you flatten....next weeks instructions will be 'on top' of what I've already done. I'm liking this page alot already, but don't have any idea yet what photo to use, LOL! You can find the Slow Wrappin' challenge thread HERE .

and finally - since I'm on the site CT at PDW also, I had to work up a LO with the new collab. I didn't HAVE to - I mean personally, I had to do one! I LOVE IT!

I used only the Sunny Days are Here Again team collab to make this one. Be sure to look for it in the shop!

Newsletter Freebie Alert!

Well, I figured out how to send a newsletter, LOLOL! Took me a while, cuz the images wouldn't load up - usually when I get those "not secure" pop-up thingee's, I hit no, and just continue on. But when the newsletter asked me, I figured I should check yes....and thats what the problem was. The minute I hit NO, up came all my darnn images. Go figure. anyhow....its sent! And..this is what my subscribers are getting:

Its a nice shabby overlay, good for CU use. I make most of my own - and sometimes remember to save them before I merge everything down....this one will add a nice subtle shabby touch to papers. Not on my newletter list yet? Sign on up! I'll make sure you get a copy :)

Hey there everyone.....yep, I'm still alive...LOL! Just been so very busy....repackaging, updating, uploading, catching up, you name it! Is there ever enough time in a day?

I finally finished up another spring/Easter kit..and I love it! and yep - I drew the chickies and the bunnies all by my lonesome...might just be my opinion, but dangit, they are cute! Hop to It! is loaded up with 18 colorful and richly textured papers and a whopping 47 unique elements...and....and...a full alpha. Its not just for Easter, either...any spring or summer theme will do! New Release & a freebie for you :)

Well, its Friday....and Monday is Valentines Day. So, yeah - I did a kit, LOL! I call it "Twitterpated" - a word I just love. Its quirky, and full of softer colors for Valentines or just plain romance LO's...or heck, just about anything! Turned out pretty darned good if I do say so myself. Previews coming up :)

I've decided to make some changes....regroup.....get my stuff together. I'm closing shop at Digidesign Resort, and will be exclusive at Plain Digital Wrapper (there is a sale on over at DDR right now). Lots of reasons for this, but most important to me right now is that I like having all my designs in one spot. I've never liked an abundance of stores...all the uploading drives me nuts. Not to mention the differences between shop set-ups, etc....so....this will work for me for right now. Plus - I LOVE PDW. Everyonen is so friendly and caring..and it has a gallery where no LO goes unnoticed. Definitely plusses in MY book! The challenges are great, and there are plenty of em, too. So, all around, its a good choice for me.

Hey hey hey! I just did a collab with Tracy King....a gal who's style and love of color I admire! We went with an extremely colorful palette....and came up with Spring Fever! I just love it - so darn much fun to play with - 26 papers, 76 elements....a full alpha and a lower case one, QP's, stacked papers, clusters...yeah, we had a ball making this one! Its in the shop at PDW now at 25% off for the next few days. I got one measly LO done with it so far, LOL....we just finished this up on Wednesday - but, I love the way it all comes together.

New Look, New Stuff, New Freebie!

So....I'm thinkin' to myself, its time for changes!   and I'm very happy with the changes I've made :)

I liked my "Break Free & Fly" kit so much that I redid the blog, had Laura Banasiak make me some new blinkies and a banner (you can find her shop over in my sidebar), and even redid my website, which has set dormant for over a year. I always wanted to get my personal LO gallery there...and I finally did it! I'm working on the product gallery.....but, the cool thing is that I have a section to put all my freebies/samples. I kinda like having them all available in one spot. There is just one page of them so far...but, I'll be adding more.   Over in the sidebar, right at the top is the link to get there.

I'm a permanent designer now at Plain Digital Wrapper, too! I just love it there. I also like having exclusive stuff! Easier to keep track of everything this way :)   and on that note....I added two overlay packs to my shop at PDW today, and they are on sale for a bit at 25% off. Want a sample??? Holly Dollar Days #25

Merry Christmas, everyone! Its a beautiful morning here, even tho we are going to have to go out and shovel again. It snowed all day yesterday, but it was that fine fluffy stuff, so it won't be so bad. It's day 25 of the Holly Dollar Days sale at Plain Digital Wrapper...and its me again! I volunteered to do another kit for the final day....our boss, Lisa is plumb tuckered out after doing so much of the sale herself (besides, she is pregger's with #13 right now) - so.....I got busy. I was so darn tired of Christmas KITS by then, that I went the other direction.

One of my favorite music groups is ELO. In 2001, man, almost 10 years ago now, they went on tour again, promoting their new album "ZOOM" which is just plain wonderful. I have the concert on DVD, and its one of the best concerts I've ever heard! Anyway, some of my favorite ELO songs are from that album. One of them is named "One Summer Dream" and is absolutely soulfully beautiful. This kit I came up with is named for that song. Its fun, richly colored...the textures and patterns are great.....I'm very happy with it. I'm showing the bundle preview here , to save space. Each pack is just 1.50 today!

Morning everyone! Its sooooo cold in Wisconsin this week - yesterday I woke up to 15 below! Today, its not quite so bad, only -8 at 6 am this morning. Its almost 10 am, and its up to a balmy -2! Ah, yeah. Life in Wisconsin! :) We are under another winter storm advisory. After last weeks dumping of a foot of the fluffy stuff, which was ice covered - we are in for another 2 - 5 inches is all. Supposed to warm up to a tropical 23, too. So - I've been foolin around with some new kits...and took a break to make a little something for all of you. I managed to get some more things done....and made them simply because I love playing with papers so darn much on my CT end of things. When a kit I'm working with doesn't have 'enough' ribbons, strings, ric-rak or whatever...I improvise by using papers. I also just love stacking them. Papers are so under rated in this industry! I just love kits that have lots of papers, in graduating tones, or coordinating colors...they are perfect for stacking! So - I made some great stacking templates. They are extremely versatile - flip'em, mirror them, turn a layer or two off... move the pieces around...lots of different looks from just one template! There are 3 sets so far (examples are NOT included). These are for PU/S4H/S4O use. You can find them exclusively at Plain Digital Wrapper and right now they are on sale for 20% off! Hey there everybody! Its DSD weekend (I count Thursday as the weekend....its prep day, LOL!) It's been busy around here, and someday I'm going to learn to be a better blogger. Um....yep, I keep telling myself that! I have simplified things here at Kimeric Kamp , and its helping! But then...I did add another CT, couldn't help myself. I am on the Creative Team at Plain Digital Wrapper where the craziest people in the world reside... :), and one of the gals there, Julie.ItIs moved on to the DigiChick. Well, I love Julie's designs...so I asked her to tag along! She took me with her, bless her little heart, LOL! Julie is now Sherwood Studio, and is exclusively at the DigiChick. Been having a grand time making some LO's for her new shop! Be sure to stop and see Julie, and wish her well in her new shop!

As for me and my designs....I've been busier than ever. I have a new release that will come out this weekend at both DDR and Digitals and have an all month long sale at both! Where to begin?? Well - I won the contest at theStudio, for one! Made it thru the month of September...and wow. Just wow! I'm not so sure I'll ever do another contest...talk about stress! Add to that all the other things I've gotten involved in, and I'm amazed I got everything finished! More about theStudio as things progress.

I did a OKC for Studio Manu...I was so tickled that she asked me in the first place..but then she asked me to join her team! I absolutely love her stuff....so softly shabby/grungy! I did these two LO's with her newest product, "Harmony" - which is gorgeous to say the least! It was just released today, and is on sale for 20% off at StudioManu in Scrapbookgraphics .

The Finals! and...a full kit freebie!

Well, guys.....I made the finals. Came in first last round, by only one vote! SO....there are ten of us in this last round. Top three win. I had since last Friday to make an entirely NEW kit....only one catch - no more than 14 papers, 40 elements. That's a good size kit....but when you have limits set, somehow its not enough! I made so many things....then had to pick and choose....but I think I came up with some good choices. Hope you agree! This round is judged by the staff at theStudio - no more voting. But thanks to all that did! This kit will only be a freebie till the 1st - so grab it up while you can. Then, it goes to the shop...and all the extra's I couldn't put in will be an add on. Apple of my eye Mini Kit and QP freebie!

This weeks challenge for Round 4 of the Next Designer Contest at theStudio was to use apples as a theme, create a palette, make a mini, and then use it to make a QP. and...most importantly....NO CU. You could use only what your program comes with. I'm a PSP gal, as most of you know....not that its limiting in anyway...and since I make alot of my own stuff to begin with, it wasn't a problem. But.....no glitter....LMAO! I couldn't use Artrage, since it isn't native to my PSP....no Eye Candy.....for me that was the challenge. I have a hard time with curly ribbons, too....and have none of my own....so I had to think on this one. I love Granny Smith apples....so I carefully peeled one, took a pic of it..scanned it...and bingo....a curly element.... :) I peeled, sliced, you name it....had fun doing it, too! Ok, enough with the babble....this is what I came up with:

Wowsers, have I been busy! and here I thought having all this great free time ... yeah, right! I would run out of things to do....instead, I'm busier than ever! Lemme see.....where to begin. Ok....first of all, due to all thats been going on, I had to drop one of the contests I was in...the one at DSA. I only had one mini made up for that one...and just didn't have the time to finish a second (there is a VERY good reason for that, too...stay tuned!) I am, tho...still in the one at theStudio . Clicking on that will take you to the gallery there of all the contestants..and tons of freebies! I'm posting my round 4 entry tomorrow...so be sure you come back HERE to grab the link to it! The wonderful news about this contest - last weeks challenge was to create a preview from a kit theStudio design team had provided...a kit for charity. We were to make the preview centering around a charity of our choice. I chose All God's Children, International on a suggestion from one of the great gals there. I checked it out....and it is MORE than worthy. Well...they will be using the preview that had the most votes....and all the proceeds go to that contestants chosen charity....and....BINGO! I won it! Oh, and by the way??? I am/was contestant #00097. The one with the paper bag....LOL. Actually, that's Eric behind that bag...but you wouldn't know it from the avatar I made. Here is the winning preview:

It did turn out nice.... :) Now that I've told you which contestant I am and was...I can give you the links for the freebies I made so far. The first challenge theme was Summer, and we had a certain palette to use to create a mini with. Here is what I made:

You can grab this mini HERE (don't you just LOVE my bag???) anyhow, I made it thru that round, obviously...and on to week two....we were given a gorgeous quilt to use as a palette. Then, we had to choose between an element pack, paper pack or cluster pack. I chose the clusters. Didn't do half bad on them....I made it thru the round again, and in the top three! Well, I'm in two contests, just for the heck of it! I love a good challenge, I guess. One is at The Studio, the other is at DSA. I just posted my entry for this week at The Studio. Its up for download...but....I can't give out the link here, or tell you which one it is....LOL....its all being anonymous for the time being. Kinda nice that way - keeps the "popularity" out of it. So, we all go by numbers...and I can't even tell you which number I am! You will have to go take a peek, and see if you can figure out which one is mine. If you know my style.....shouldn't be too hard.....you won't even get to find out by the TOU - that has my number in it, too. So - check out all the goodies up for grabs at The Studio HERE .

I've almost got my entry for the Designer Apprentice contest finished. THAT one I can put my name on...LOL! I'll post it when its finished - should be by tomorrow. The gallery for this contest is HERE . This is too fun, actually! I love making mini's....but it is time consuming!

I'm back again....and today with my part of the September Blogtrain "Fall Carnival". It was a great palette to play with...make sure you get all the pieces for one huge collaboration! The link to my part is below the my preview. Before I forget....be sure to follow along with me all this month. I got 'brave' and entered not one but TWO designer contests...one at DSA/FPD - Designer Apprentice, and the other at The Studio. I want to see just how far I can go with this...should be fun! and...that means freebies. Lots! Keep an eye on my blog....FOLLOW me! and you will get not one, but two freebies each week from me! My first entry to the DA contest is due on the 5th...I've already started working on it. We were all split into groups...and have to make a mini based on a season. I'm in the "summer" group....just when I thought I was thru with summer...LOL! But, this is turning out nice. You won't be disappointed ( I hope ). Stay tuned!

Hey! Yep, its me again....

I've been so busy catching up on everything - its so dang nice having the time to do it, too! In between working on designs and taking care of things here at home, I've been working on LO's for Plain Digital Wrapper. This month one of the designers I'm working with is Tracy King. I got to play with a newer kit, "Allie's Pals - Moose" - - its right up my alley! Gorgeous colors...lots of elements....I have some LO's in the gallery at PDW, and made a little somethin' for you, too! Check out Tracy's kit - you'll be glad you did (its on sale, too!)

Hey there everybody! I know...long time no see again - that's about to change tho! I've got good news...and MORE good news.... :) Lemme see. First of all....I got to quit my job that I hated so darn much! Eric and I were working in a giant refrigerator....LOL - a food packaging company that was a constant 40 degrees (year round), with fans blowing in your face all the time. I constantly had a cold, even tho I dressed for the 'weather'. Luckily - Eric got his old job back, which pays twice the amount we were making freezing our behinds off.....so, he said I can stay home! WOOHOO! That means....its designing time! We were thankful for the jobs, tho - we got the house paid off while we were working there. One huge hurdle overcome there!

hmmm. what else? well - I joined a CT team. yep - ME....I joined a CT team. Wow, huh? I didn't think I was good enough, but the gals at Plain Digital Wrapper thought I was ok at it.....and I'm having a ball playing around with other people's stuff for a change! You can see my itty bitty gallery HERE . I'll be posting my LO's in a day or so. Still getting caught up with everything!

I also found a great new shop to sell my CU stuff at! Its called The Designers Toobox , and I really am liking it there. Talk about quality! I like the 'strict' approach to QC - I've purchased my share of bad stuff. You won't get anything bad at DTB! I have a whole new line of products there....I call 'em Artistically Altered Antiques. I LOVE them! So full of color and textures...and fun to make, too. Most all of the items are right here in my house, or from some of my relatives places (I have an uncle with a huge antique shop - lucky for me!). If you are looking for elements that aren't quite 'real' but not completely digital either...these are for you. Old fashioned and fun to play with, these are great. Check out my florals and overlays, too! My overlays are perfectly shabby and grungy - I have to make my own, cuz I can't find any that suit my style. I'm working on a sampler to be put up in the store so you can check out my stuff....its not quite finished yet. I'll post it when I have it ready! Its almost the middle of June....tomorrow is my oldest's and youngest's birthdays....Jason will be 34 and Anna will be 24 - yep, 10 years apart and on the same day - the 13th of June. My birthday is June 21st, the first day of summer.....and heck, I just love the entire month. Everything is so fresh - green and growing.....LOVE it! Father's day is coming up next Sunday - and I have a special kit ready to scrap those moments for the men in your lives. You know I like to name my kits after songs....and this one is no different. "My Father's Eyes" is named for a beautiful song from Eric Clapton, and is very fitting for this kit. Hi again everyone! A couple things here today...man, I've posted more lately than ever....ain't that somethin?? LOL! I've been having so much fun lately with all this stuff, and seems like I always come up with thing's to share.

First off - Lissa, my wonderful 'boss lady' at A Moment in Scrap came up with a wonderful idea for a Build Your Own Collab for Mother's Day. The best thing about it, is that all the parts can be used for everyday special moment scrapping, too! There are alot of 'parts' to chose from. I came up with 6 - 3 gorgeous element packs, a frame pack, and two paper packs. Today I bundled 'em all up, and if you get the bundle, you save 50%! That's kind of a deal, huh? I really love being part of the AMS design team. We have some great challenges going on for May - I'm hosting the Color Challenge once again (I love doing it), and there is a pretty darn good Posting Bonus again this month! Hey there everyone! I have been SO busy...work, as always leaves me with little time for anything, but somehow I managed to get just....well, a few things accomplished, all within a week somehow. For me, THAT is something! First of all - Happy interNational Scrapbooking Day to everyone! I hope you find lots of goodies, I know I already did.
